I think we need a dedicated thread for filming locations. The Church of St. Wenceslas in Vysluni just popped up on twitter as a confirmed filming location.

The article says the crew was preparing the set for about a month, and constructed a new door they will be gifting the church as a thank-you. The mayor of Vysluni described the interior as "exotic" and "like India, but more styles," with dimmed lights and bars over the windows. The church also apparently has suffered catastrophic fire damage in the past that has not been fully repaired.

I know of other locations and possible locations that I'll add later, unless y'all get to it first. ^_^

My first thought was somewhere in Shadar Logoth, although I don't know how long filming takes so I don't know if it would take a month do to those scenes or not.

Thanks for the thread and news, Aratouial! :joy

I can't think of what the interior of a church would be used for in WoT but it'll be interesting to see.

From the sound of it, they covered up a lot of the more church-y bits, like the altar and the stained glass windows. I think Elania Sedai's guess it's in Shadar Logoth makes the most sense to me.

That you for this post this is awesome. On another note I am so happy that they are going to sight locations and shooting there instead of using a green screen for everything. It warms my heart that production teams are still good into the field and finding locations that reminded them of the story they are telling.

Another filming location, this time in Ploskovice, Czech Republic:

"In Ploskovice, where people from the National Heritage Institute on Thursday informed journalists about the figures for the previous season and their planned events for the upcoming Advent period, filmmakers were preparing to shoot footage for the Wheel of Time series in production."

The exterior of the Ploskovice Chateau doesn't appear very Andorian (to me), but there are extensive walled gardens so I agree with Narg (r/thedailytrolloc) that this is a possible site for Caemlyn. There are some really lovely interior rooms, though, with a distinctive twist on Baroque designs. Around the area are also some beautiful meadows, woods, streams, and footbridges so it could also be more landscape shots that aren't as mountainous and craggy as other areas we've seen.
