Favorite WoT character?

Cadsuane is my favourite, closely followed by Logain...
Third and fourth used to be Nynaeve and Lan, but during this re-read, I've started noticing another character who looks like pinching third place... it's a bit weird; I don't usually change my mind like that.
I think next comes Tam and Egwene (more in the later books than the earlier ones).
The exact order of the next dozen or so tends to be a bit fuzzy and changes a lot.

 

My favorite character keeps changing! At this very moment my favorite character is Loial but that could change later today. I like how the characters interact with one another.

 

I dislike almost all of the men parts lol... I usually skip over parts of them to get to the Aes Sedai but I also find Elayne annoying. Cadsuane has to be my all time favorite. She just knows whats up the entire time and presses forward. She works hard at it.

 

I like the character progression we see with Egwene. (Book 14 spoilers)

Going from a small village girl who wants to see the world and going on adventures, to realizing maybe they're not all they're cracked up to be. Growing harder as she deals with captivity as a damane, growing more confident as she hunts the Black Ajah, growing more, well, wise with the Wise Ones. Resolving not to just be a puppet Amyrlin but to actually play the game and take control. Never bending during her time as a "novice" again in the Tower, and then being a total badass while saving it from the Seanchan. Dealing with Rand as the Dragon Reborn rather than her village friend from what felt like so long ago but in reality was only a couple of years. Sacrificing herself at the end () with the Flame of Tar Valon weave to stop balefire from destroying the world.

So even though she gets a bad rap as whiny/selfish/having the stuck-up flaws that RJ seemed to write into most of his female characters, she's my favorite by the end of the storyline.

 

I like Egwene when she's just Egwene. It's any time she's around Gawyn that makes me want to tear my hair out

 

I don't like Mat, but Perrin is my favorite.

 

Matrim Oliver and Uno Male side. Graendal Egwene Verin. Mat def sucked the first couple of books but shines after!!

Me too! I can't pinpoint why though.

 

Currently, I think Mat (mostly from defending him to my friend who is on Fires of Heaven), Androl, and then in a separate category, Moridin is my favorite Forsaken.

I like Nynaeve.

 

Mat is my overall favorite, but reading that last few books I have to say I love Androl and Pevara. Together that is, separate they were meh.

 

I love all the Silviana votes! I really like her too. But to choose just one or two? Impossible for my indecisive arse. Mat is probably at the top, but I also love Verin. And how could anyone not love Loial? Aviendha is the best of Rand's ladies, IMHO. Thom is awesome. I can relate most to Perrin and his overly-cautious tendencies. I like Rand, but he can be more of a woolhead than most of them; he's got a lot on his plate though. And I never understood all the Egwene haters. She can be irritating, but I was proud of her, too.

I really can't choose just one. I think I will be doing a reread soon

 

Probably dull / controversial but actually I like Rand. In places I do like Perrin though.
