It counts as literature. It totally counts. :look

Who reads it? Who writes it? What's your favorite fandom? What's your favorite ship? What...variety...of fic do you prefer to read?

I know for fact I'm not the only one who spends too much just the right amount of time on AO3. :D

For me- I write WoT RP stuffs as well as Supernatural fics (though those are pretty crap and I'm not sharing), and mostly read Supernatural fics.

Guilty pleasure exposed. Now please come help me wallow in my misery as I cry over Twist and Shout again. :p

Some fic is better than published books, to be honest. I'm rather curious to see how the face of the publishing industry changes as the authors get it together and start writing original stuff.

    :look :shifty

I read it. I write it. I hide what I’ve written at least 15 onscurely named folders deep on my computer so no one will ever find it and read it. :lol

I have a variety of fandoms I like. My most consistently-read fandom is Buffy (I’m definitely a Spuffy shipper in Buffy but will read anything that’s well-written). I’ve also read a bit of Twilight fanfic, which is funny since I detest the Twilight books. :p There are some pretty interesting rewrites of Twilight that actually make it an engaging universe. I’ve also read fanfic for NCIS, WoT, and Harry Potter. I’ve even read some fanfic for fandoms which I’ve never seen/read the original. :lol I’m not too picky on variety of fanfic, but I am super picky about quality. I want it to be well-written and make me think or feel something new.

Isn’t it? :love The thing I love about Spuffy is they’re both deeply flawed people, they make terrible choices together, individually, and in regards to each other, just like normal people do, though definitely a bit more extreme given their circumstances. :lol By the end, neither one is asking the other to be perfect, just to be with them. I like the idea that someone can have flaws and still be loved. :p

I prefer fanfiction to published literature, most of the time. I read a ton of Harry Potter, Dragon Age... Dragon Age.... More Dragon Age... :look

Yeah. I probably need a new hobby. :lol
