If you don't know who I am talking about Daniel Greene is a famous booktuber, and his favorite all time series is Wheel of Time. I enjoy watching his content. The cover art for his first book looks amazing!!!

He revealed the book cover today for Breach of Peace, which is his first book. Honestly very excited for this. This is going to be a must buy for me day 1, I'm really curious to see what someone like him who shares similar book interests, and has gained valuable insight into writing methods through relatively new and unique methods can accomplish.

the cover reveal is at 6 mins 07 seconds in

Was going to post this myself, thanks for helping me out! Already watched it! Plus I got it pre-ordered a few days ago when he did his live steam, he had a hidden announcement then for it :D

we might as well just make this the official discussion page for all Daniel Greene books at this point, let's face it... the novella trilogy will be done by end of year he said, and then the main trilogy set after the novella begins next year... :D

@Eliza Al'Shaw post your thoughts here when you finish reading it in April sometime! :joy:ha:yay:ok

huhuhu well done good sir, my Dad has Prime so I got the paperback pre-ordered... I wasn't going to originally, but I had like $30 laying around in coins that I never get around to spending as I use cards for everything these days and I am to lazy to roll them up, however my Dad likes a lot of coins so I just gave 10 to my Dad

I think it's going to be a lot of fun

Once I get the chance I will probably get his book. The determination of how good it is will be if I want to read it multiple times.

Ah, I love Murphy!! But I'm gonna hold off on watching the reviews until I can read it myself, have my own thoughts. I often find I'm looking for what the reviewer finds instead of making my ow thoughts (though that just leads to a re-read so not all bad) But I'll thoroughly enjoy watching their review once I've read it myself ^^

I agree 100%! I just posted it here for those who might not know much about Daniel Greene and were curious in a spoiler-free review.

We share similar brainwaves on this. I can't read reviews because I start hyper-focusing on stuff mentioned in the review. I'll choose something then read reviews after I finish it.

Sometimes I can watch a spoiler free review to decide if I want to add a book to my TBR, but I have to wait a while for the review to fade from my mind. But if it's a book I already know I want to read (like this one, or Sanderson) I won't watch a review until after.

I just finished Breach of Peace, I read it in one sitting, 9/10 from me.

If anyone else has finished and wants to discuss let me know... not posting anything until I give people a chance to catch up (I know spoilers option exists to hide it, but still) lol

My questions to those that have read it are:

    1. Was it detailed? (Descriptive enough to make you feel like you are there)
    2. How long is it? (What books are roughly the same length)
    3. Do you think this is the beginning of a good series?

I plan on reading it within a few months... but the answers to the above questions may move it up on my "To Be Read" list. No need for spoilers. Just your opinion.

    1) Yes. It's one of my favourite things about Daniel's writing. You feel immersed and even in such a short story it feels real.

    2) 3 hrs and 9 mins on Audible, 140 pages. Similar length to: Animal Farm, Great Gatsby, Of Mice And Men, Fahrenheit 451.

    3) You really don't get allot from such a short book. I already know quite a bit about this world as a member of the Goblin Clan. . . So I'm not the most objective reviewer on this. But Personally I cared enough about the characters I met here to want to continue their journey and saw a glimpse into a world I want to understand better. But knowing there are 2 more books in this Arch and an entire novel series yet to come in this world helps.
