I know Brandon Sanderson deliberately left out what powers Mizzy got because we'll see it later. (Source.) As for the rest... yeah, I don't know. Some of it did feel a little rushed, though I did like that it felt open-ended. And it seems that we will be seeing more and getting more answers in the Apocalypse Guard series.

I am one of those people who will be in the YA section of the library until I'm in my 90's.
I am so excited to see Sanderson officially joining the genre with Reckoners and Rithmatists!

Wow. I know this thread is kind of dead but I finished the series a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. And now it seems there are coming even more? This is just fantastic news before christmas.

Yes, I'm super excited that there will be more books in the same world! Sanderson expects to release the first Apocalypse Guard book in spring 2018, he posted recently. And in addition to that new series, I actually just learned this last night about Snapshot, which is coming out in February 2017:

"Do know that Snapshot is in the Reckoners universe, though it’s very much not a YA story." (Source, with a lot of information about all his upcoming projects)

There's a little more information about Snapshot here.

OMG, you truly are a bringer of wonderful news and amazing links :D Can`t believe there`s even more to come, and we don`t have to wait until 2018 for this one either.

Yesterday I was told about the whole universe Sanderson writes his books, cosmere.
I know the reckoners series officially is not apart of it, but with the new books coming and seemingly happening before Calamity, I feel that this might change very fast with the knowledge of what Calamity is, trying very hard not to write any spoilers in case someone don`t know yet.
In regards to this theory I must also confess that I am lacking almost all knowledge from other Sanderson books, but I am working on it by starting on the Mistborn series right now.

But for the fun of it how do people think that this universe (the reckoners) will be knitted in to the rest of the Sanderson Universe.

It's been confirmed that only his books that are not set on "Earth" will be a part of the Cosmere. (Here's one source, though there are probably many more.) It'd be pretty interesting to see how he could connect the Reckoners into the Cosmere, but it won't happen except perhaps in fanfic...

Also, you can discuss spoilers here, just put spoiler tags around it. This is how it looks in action:
This isn't really a spoiler.
And you make the tags like this, but without the asterisks (*):
[*spoiler]This isn't really a spoiler.[/*spoiler]

I hope you enjoy becoming familiar with his other works! There are threads where you can go to discuss just about anything he's written, and if you can't find a thread, feel free to make one. :pleased-1: Once you become a citizen and unlock the PM feature, you're also welcome to PM me if you want to chat about Sanderson stuff; I've read pretty much everything he's published, most of it more than once, and I love it all!

I am a HUGE Brandon Sanderson fan, he ranks around my top three writers, him Robert Jordan and Tolkien :pleased-1: I have read pretty much everything he has written, and I love his Cosmere books, and the Alcatraz series :look: Or, I love everything he writes, but those ones the most :pleased-1:
