Maybe my favorite author. I have read so many of his books and still have so many more to read ( which Makes me so happy!).

YES!!!! In particular I love his Uhtred books. I've tried some of his other series' but they don't hook me the same way Uhtred's story does. I'm completely caught up on that series and can't wait to see how it turns out. I've listened to all of the series on audio and it is fabulous that way. I'm disappointed that they didn't keep the original narrator from the first few books - he was BY FAR the best. The others have been ok, but nothing like the first guy.

Glad to find another Cornwell fan!

YAY!! I also like the 3 Book WARLORD Chronicles ( Arthurian) with Derfel. Its as good as the Uthred series IMO but both of those are his best series' I think!

Cornwell is a good one with really intensive research for the background of his books. Haven't read a book yet that I didn't like.

I also like that he doesn't seem to be pretentious either. Overall his books are simple and good :)

Lenore - I completely agree. The amount of historical detail is amazing, but at the same time it simply a part of the story - the details of the setting and time period, etc. don't distract from the story, they enhance it.
