So, for those of you who are living under a rock, or in the Hushlands, the latest book in the Alcatraz series are out today! :joy Or at least it is out in parts of the Hushlands, like in America, and on Kindle :)

I am really exited about this, and have already downloaded it to my phone/Kindle, and will try to not be up half the night reading. I will probably fail miserably :look

Please discuss the details of the book in this thread, and use spoiler tags if you must mention it anywhere else. We must not spoil the book for all the Hushlanders who don't already know the ending ;)

Do what? Which part of this was surprising to you? I just finished... Slightly underwhelmed...

The part about there being a SIXTH book? I suspected as much, especially after the halfway point...
That he let his father be killed? I was surprised he didn't kill him himself. Grandpa Smedry was a but sad though...

Yes that he didn't finish the series.

Yes Grandpa Smedry was sad but at least we know he's arrived late for it for now.

Do we know that? The Talents don't work, remember?
I'll believe the father is alive before grandpa..

Its pure silliness so don't expect a deep story or deep plot but yes lots of fun. Make sure you get the new editions not the old ones.
