Thanks to circumstance, you are stuck with my response until someone else happens to be around, too.

This thread will explain more about Citizenship from a technical point of view. Other than that, what it really means is that you will have more of the forums uncovered to explore. The community here is structured somewhat according to the WoT books, in that you can progress through the Tower if you so wish, from Novice/Recruit, Accepted/Soldier, all the way to the rank of Aes Sedai or Gaidin - regardless of your gender. Or you can stay as (Resident) Citizen - that's a great option too. As you have likely noticed, we have Ajahs for the Aes Sedai and Companies for the Gaidin, too.

First and foremost, though, this is a community, so we really enjoy having new people join that we can get to know and vice versa - the ranks and everything else included is there to help with that and add more flavour. A lot of us have been here for a long time, and have made lifelong connections and relationships. Others can attest for their part, of course. ​

Good morning all,

I am currently on a re-read of the WoT, been a fan for a few decades and decided with the TV series coming along that my first re-read was in order. There are so many good books and alas so little time, that I rarely re-read anything. However WoT is a worthy addition to my re-reads.

1. Who is your favourite character in The Wheel of Time and why? Please use spoiler tags if you give away any info, this is a spoiler free forum
Too many to possibly say but I think I'll shout out the EF5 - all great in their own way. If I have to choose from the Shadow then I find Ishamael to be very interesting.

2. How did you find TarValon.Net?
Scouted it out on a To'Raken. (Actually I just googled).

3. What do you do? (student? job? hobbies?)
Head of IT for a construction company.

4. Where are you from? What languages to you speak?
England and English.

5. What is your favourite book or author other than Robert Jordan and The Wheel of Time?
Again a bit of a cop out but so many to choose from. Although I love both Fantasy and Science Fiction.

I have not re-read anything. I read a whole lot but there are so many stories out there just isn't enough time! With that being said, WoT will get a re-read, probably a number of times, because I know there is so much I missed the first time around. I am on the last book now.
I tend to watch tv series a number of times though. I've already been 6x through the WoT.
