Welcome to the 2023 Site Fundraiser - Free the Tree!
🌴 This fundraiser will run for the next four weeks, from August 26, 2023 - September 26, 2023.Our site fundraiser exists to keep TarValon.Net running. The funds raised are used to pay for server and domain expenses, keeping us ad-free, advertising at JCon and through social media, etc. It is also used to fund the Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship, which is near and dear to many of us. Our community is self-funded, and any donation helps keep us running and thriving.
Our world, once inhabited by the influx of crowns, is no more. The crowns 👑 of the world have been spirited away by none other than our own Cordamora, Tree Sedai.
She may be a little addicted.
For her dastardly deeds, she's been captured for theft of all the crowns of the world! We must right this at once, bail her out of jail and bring her home. Now what happens after, is fair game.....stealing of crowns, bribes, bets, sharing, imbibing, you know the usual shenanigans.
To up the ante, those who donate can put their money towards bribing the magistrate aka Tree to lock up another Tower member! When $100 is raised for that member, off they go to jail where they are at Tree's mercy for amusement since she's already there due to the whole crown debacle. Also, their title may be temporarily relinquished to the person/persons paying to lock them up (temporarily) while that member is in jail.
Now once in jail, a member may be able to be bailed out. We'll release more info on how soon! This may be through donation and/or deeds.

How do I donate?
There are 2 ways to donate. The first is to send funds via PayPal. You can do that via our Donations page, or click this link to go directly to PayPal (send funds to payable@tarvalon.net). In the notes section, please include your Tower name and 2023 Site Fundraiser.
The second way is to mail a personal check to our Shatayan, Cahalan. If you choose this method, please include a note with your Tower name and that it is for this fundraiser.

Why do we want your Tower name? We track our donors for our Avendesora program. We also like to do prize drawings from the donor pool at the end of the Fundraiser! To get your name into the prize pool, donate a minimum of $5.
Additional Caveat:
One additional item for donation information. If you don't want to be included in the raffle pool or otherwise don't want any public recognition for your donation, that is completely acceptable. Please still include your tower name, but add that to the note and you will be placed on the tracking spreadsheet as "Anonymous".
Also, if you are donating to lock someone up, please make that notation.
