As we just celebrated our 21st Anniversary, we would like to take a look back at our past, our present as well as our future. This year we are partnering with the Online Events Team during our fundraiser as we share stories aka "carols" of memories long ago within our community, the fandom and the Wheel of Time while also celebrating our present and setting goals and resolutions for the new year.
Welcome to the 2022 Site Fundraiser: Wheel of Carols. This fundraiser will run for the next four weeks, from December 16, 2022 - January 15, 2023.
Our site fundraiser exists to keep TarValon.Net running. The funds raised are used to pay for server and domain expenses, keeping us ad-free, advertising at JCon and through social media, etc. It is also used to fund the Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship, which is near and dear to many of us. Our community is self-funded, and any donation helps keep us running and thriving.

We are officially kicking things off today!
As donations come in, and our event unfolds, we have several scheduled events that will open up for the community to enjoy. We will also be adding raffle prizes to the prize pool. Keep an eye out for more info.

How do I donate?
There are 2 ways to donate. The first is to send funds via PayPal. You can do that via our Donations page, or click this link to go directly to PayPal (send funds to payable@tarvalon.net). In the notes section, please include your Tower name and 2022 Site Fundraiser.
The second way is to mail a personal check to our Shatayan, Cahalan. If you choose this method, please include a note with your Tower name and that it is for this fundraiser.

Why do we want your Tower name? We track our donors for our Avendesora program. We also like to do prize drawings from the donor pool at the end of the Fundraiser! To get your name into the prize pool, donate a minimum of $5.
Additional Caveat:
One additional item for donation information. If you don't want to be included in the raffle pool or otherwise don't want any public recognition for your donation, that is completely acceptable. Please still include your tower name, but add that to the note and you will be placed on the tracking spreadsheet as "Anonymous".

You would just need to indicate within the payment that it is a general site donation so I can be sure it gets allocated correctly.
