The winners of the 2021 Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship are Andrew Kischnick and Madeana Taylor. Their essays are posted in the Library if you would like to read them. We had a total of 25 essays this year, and the Hall diligently worked to read, rate, and finally vote on the winning essays. Many thanks to the Hall for their hard work, and congratulations to the scholarship recipients!

Both of them also took the time to write notes to us, the TarValon.Net community, in thanks. :)

From Andrew:

To the lovely members of the TarValon.Net community,

I am wholehearted honored to have been selected as one of the recipients of the Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship. Thank you for your generosity which allows me to continue my passion to become a Servant of All in the field of nursing.

During my educational journey, I’ve continued to work in a nursing home with many hospice residents who have taught me just how much kindness, hope and love there is in the world. It is my dream to continue to be a servant to this population and their family members during this difficult time as they all transition in life.

As I continue my education at Chamberlain University your thoughtful gift will assist me with textbooks, clinical supplies, and transportation to hospitals where I will practice and master the skills of nursing.

Thank you all again for being selected as the recipient of the Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship. I look forward to proving myself as a worthy recipient and a proud Servant to All.

With gratitude,
Andrew Kischnick

From Madeana:
Hello generous donors! I am delighted to be selected as your scholarship recipient! Due to your
help, I will be on the right path to accomplishing my dreams of completing Spelman College (my
dream college)! This is just the beginning for me and your generosity will help GREATLY!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I promise to make you proud!

With Love & Peace,
Madeana Taylor❤️
