Also, I apologize for giving the impression that I thought you insincere. You are clearly sincere. To me, arguments in favor of reversing a change like this feel unsettling and frustrating because of the very real, very creepy and gross and harmful history of the site wrt the safety of minors...

It just seems like beating a dead horse at this point, to me. But I've shared why I feel this change was badly needed, so I'll bow out and let others feel as they will. There's no harm in it, you're right. And people are allowed to wish it were otherwise.

This is a great point. I'm tired and don't have suggestions, but I do like the idea of finding a more internationally understood ratings-terminology. I know I mentioned American movie ratings in my post, but it was to compare/respond to a previous comment. I'm not particularly attached to it.

Wrt Discord, if we're going with the American movie ratings analogy, we're currently at PG-13. Porn is NC-17. There's a nice, happy medium of R in there, which is what I imagine we'll aim for.
