A Memory of Light was the only possible ending for the Wheel of Time series. It took me nine hours to finish a Memory of Light @ 100 pages an hour(ish). I felt genuine dispair at losing the character of Egwene... but then... the 'penny' began to drop, and i don't mind saying that 'it' levelled me.
