    What moved you?

When Noal showed up again I may have sat up and clapped like a giddy fool. It was just to awesome.

The trap I never expected Jordan(son) to step into! [SPOILERS!]

Because of the balance in Randland I knew there was going to be an opposite. But because it was only discovered during the last big war/battle and then forbidden, I figured that no one bothered to "Test" and try to find a way around it because it was forbidden. And risky.

Things you liked, or didn't [WHOLE BOOK SPOILERS]

Wasn't Tam with Perrin's army though? And Birgitte had died by that point. The whole thing was she needed to show them that 1.) she wasn't dead and 2.) that all hope wasn't lost. then on page 824 near the bottom she talks about waving the sword and holding the sword and then the next page...

Things you liked, or didn't [WHOLE BOOK SPOILERS]

To be fair, even at the time Elayne herself commented about how silly it was and how she didn't know if she'd even be able to swing the thing. But a queens gotta do what a queens gotta do! And I agree with Tazren, I wasn't surprised. If anything, it was an amusing little section in a time when...

    The unexplained

If I remember correctly all of that happened while Elayne was securing her throne. So I don't think she ever learned it.

    Hey all!

    Hello and welcome back!
  7. Caliden Al'Waes

    So, what's with the porthole?

Oh, thats nifty! I have to confess I didn't even notice :x Observant I am, not.
  8. Caliden Al'Waes

    Death

I didn't expect a ton of deaths because well... healing. Anything short of death can and will be healed. I imagine that the important people in the book got top priority, such as Perrin. Basically the ones that happened were due to close close combat or freak accidents.
  9. Caliden Al'Waes

    Rand and the Bore

    Pg. 890 (Bottom line)
  10. Caliden Al'Waes

    Death

    Yes, exactly that.

    no "Citizen" under my name.

I am certainly a citizen, but yet it does not say so under my name. Which gets a bit confusing. Thank you!

Greetings and welcome! I have a few friends I want to come here just so they can have a place to discuss the books, but I keep forgetting ha.

    Welcome back!

The 3rd Age next time around

I thought each age was different, the only thing that is the same is the name being reused. And we've seen that the DO has no problems with accepting new members to the forsaken, so who is to say that come the next age of Legends that he doesn't go recruiting? But I think that Rand's solution to...

    Soundtrack for the Last Battle

You are neither alone, nor boring. I promise :) I'm the exact same way. I get so annoyed at my husband if he starts making noise while I'm reading.
  16. Caliden Al'Waes

    Death

I think considering how he "Holds back" as it was so lovingly pointed out in this book, he needs someone who can control him if he decides to let go and lose his temper. Faile is the perfect match for him. I didn't like her in the start, when we first met her. Childish, manipulative, etc. But...

    What would you ask Brandon?

Randland sounds so much better than Westlands.
  18. Caliden Al'Waes

    Death

I was so thankful she lived. They've had no peaceful time together, not really. They deserve it. They deserve their little babies and Two Rivers and being wonderful together. Yes.

    Death

I think what upset me the most about Rhuarc's death is that it wasn't honorable, so he gained no Ji when he woke from the dream. Obviously, he had no choice in the matter but thats the way my mind worked it. Just now ha.

    First Book..... COMPLETE!

I finished the first book and then it was one after the other like a person with an unstoppable addiction. And now I have all 15 books so I can read them one after the other. One after the other. It will be brilliant.
