Hi Kira! Welcome! And here every new member gets their own thread - we celebrate every new person that joins the site :)

Don't worry about having to use a translator/dictionary to read/write here. We have a lot of members who aren't native English speakers. Many of them have really improved their English by talking with people here, and we are very patient :) If you don't know what something means, just ask.

I've tried learning another language and I've never come even close to being able to have a conversation, so I have a lot of respect for your level of skill (no matter how low you think it is)!

Hello and welcome! Like others have said, I think your English is very good! I don't have any trouble understanding you.
As for the avatars, because we are really a tightly knit family, we like people to keep the same "face" for help with identifying. And since the picture we choose becomes more or less a permanent representation of us, who we are, and what we say, we want to make sure that the artist is okay with their art being used like that. Plus, it would really suck to have a picture for months or years only to have the artist find out and make you change it.

Mat Cauthon - man of sense! It was not his fault that he is a "bloody hero"
Logain!! - strong man. And cute .
Jahar Narishma And he just cute . An honest , but a little strange .
Verin Mathwin - delightful woman
Nynaeve al'Meara. Modestly - genius
And Cadsuane Melaidhrin! :D It is not always right , but I like it.

I was looking for pictures . I was looking for pictures about the Red Aiah . Maybe I wanted to find something indecent . :laugh: I found this forum

I am an artist. No, I'm not a very good artist. Sometimes I think I can not draw . But I must not show it at work. Otherwise, I'd be fired . :laugh:
Sometimes I am ashamed of my drawings . So what I'm trying to learn how to draw better. )))

What is your favorite book or author other than Robert Jordan and The Wheel of Time?
Andrzej Sapkowski, "Saga o wiedźminie". Or "The witcher". I do not know how you call it . I read it in translation and listened to some of the original , in Polish .

I know the book described him as handsome, but I always imagined Logain as more... prettyboy, which didn't appeal to me. However, judging by those two pictures, I was terribly, terribly wrong. A rugged Logain with piercing eyes... Yeah, I can get behind that... :D
