Blergh. I deleted my holiday avatar and uploaded the non-festive version, but now it seems to be gone. Can someone please help me get it back? Link to my avi is here.

Reposting this in the hopes it might help some folks out...

I've got my method for changing it, works everytime. Note that Firefox works the best for this, I've found:

1) My Account > Edit
2) Delete avatar
3) Go back in to Edit, upload avatar
4) You may still see your old avatar there, ignore it
5) Go to your user profile, and press Ctrl+F5 (force refresh). Alternatively, clear your entire browser
cache.
6) Bingo

It may be because Drupal doesn't update the avatar image's date on the server, so the browser thinks it's the same file and doesn't download a new one. I don't know though, because I haven't tested that myself

What works fine for me is:
1) My account (the one you find at the right side, not upper link) > edit
2) upload avatar you have at your computer
3) Hit save
4) if your new avatar doesn't show up, hit ctrl + F5 (hard refresh)

voila! :pleased-1:

Try to hold down Ctrl and push the refresh button (F5 on PCs at least). It can also be that it is Shift and F5 that will work for some.
