I was gone.
I thought this place didn't matter to me anymore. I thought my life had moved past a point where I cared about it, or anyone here. I was deluding myself.
I've never been gone from chat, really, but my presence there has increasingly become less than I want it to be, and my interactions with a smaller and smaller group of people.
So. Minds don't grow in echo chambers, and the great people here outnumber the not-quite-so-great people, and vastly outnumber the great people everywhere else I hang out online. 4chan may have funny jokes and interesting stories, but it's sort of lacking in the deeper conversation.
It's been about 500 days since my last post. That's a ridiculously high number. See y'around.
