Thank you for all of your service Eleyan. I look forward to spending more fun non work time with you in the future, and am excited to see what you do with the rest of your life as Melissa.
Best of luck to the new Amyrlin when the time comes. Its not going to be an easy job to fill, but I have full confidence in the Board to pick the right person for the job, and I look forward to our membership rising up in support of you as well.

I dunno what to say..... thank you seems so unbelievably lame after all you've done for us. There were a few special people that made me truly feel part of the site and you stood head and shoulders at the top of those. An Amyrlin that inspires loyalty, respect and trust. What a breath of fresh air you were to me. And what a miracle you created with this site and community. I've been privileged to call you Mother and will continue to be blessed to call you Sister. What you've created over the last 10 years has obviously changed my life. But I've always loved you for you, not just for what you've done.

Having only been here a fraction of the time as most people here, I can honestly say that you're someone who not only commands (and deserves) respect, but someone that everyone here, myself included, cares about. This goes to show how much of an impact you've had on everyone here.. and it's hard to believe that before we know it, there will be another Amyrlin. It feels wrong to even say that, or to even think it.. but thats the sad, yet undeniable truth. You've done an amazing job of holding this ragtag bunch of people together, and I'm proud to have been here through at least part of your term as Amyrlin. Thank you for everything you have done

In my mind I'm constantly repeating: I never thought I'd see the day!
First I was as convinced as others that this was a joke, then reality sunk in and shock followed... but now after reading every single reply (!), only gratitude remains and a certainty that it must be the right decision for you and ultimately for us as well, as you would never take it lightly. So, thank you for everything you've done and another resounding:
To new doors! :beer And maybe see you in the UK?!

I just want to say congratulations and best of luck. I had the chance to meet you in Bailey's Crossroads for the ToM signing (thanks for signing all three of my books!) and I believe I saw you at JordanCon, though we didn't actually talk. To have the sort of outpouring of response that your post has brought out is a testament both to your perseverence and to the community that you have built. Enjoy your retirement, and I hope you stay around so that I may get to know the lady behind the stole!

Wow... I don't even know what to say. I've truly enjoyed meeting you at 8th and 10th Anni's. You are a wonderful inspiration to us all. It's hard not to picture as Mother forever. I always thought you would be.
Remember when we first met at 8th Anni? I couldn't do the toast to save my life, it was horrible. But after the toast was over, you took me aside and calmed me down. You always know just what to say, and your hugs are amazing. It really felt like being held by my Mother. I felt warm, safe, and secure.
You are so smart, intelligent, funny and damn sexy!
You are irreplaceable, no one will be able to step into your shoes, they will have to make shoes of their own. I have every confidence that you and the Board will choose the perfect person for this most amazing job.
