That is exactly how I operate. Most of my WoT books were bought used as I played catch-up with the series, but I deliberately spent more money than I had to (or perhaps should have) to get my Memory of Light hardcover from a smaller local store that I like.

Welcome to Tar Valon, Severian- I'm surprised that Stephen King hasn't killed you off in some book or another that he's written. (Honestly, I'm terrified to ever go to Maine for fear of giant clown-faced spiders and Light only knows what else lurking in the sewers!

Honestly, I'm not a fan of Stephen King. He's a good writer, just don't like horror novels is all I did like the movie he wrote 'Storm of the Century' though

Hi Megana. I've seen the name in a book by Gene Wolfe, though I think he spells it with A's instead of E's, but I also know someone who has that name in real life.

Woot for Maine!! I've been to Caribou a few times. My father was born there. I am, however, not originally from Maine. I'm what is generally called a 'flatlander' :P So chances are slim that'd you know how I was.

Favorite character? My favorate would have to be Rhuarc. A minor character yes, but always seems to have good advice and even tempered.
