Welcome Matt. :) Feel free to drop me a PM if you've got any particular questions.

If you haven't found a suitable name still, I'd suggest looking through one of the many baby name lists that you can find online and then either take one you like, or tweak one to be a bit more fantasyish.

This is always the hardest part to do, think of a name. Currently I have something in my head like Sam Thamyn. I'm afraid that if I look on the internet for example I'll come across spoilers.

Interesting is all that comes to mind. It will take some time for me to get myself known in the discussions.
So far it's great, and thank you for the tip. I shall keep an eye out for them

That sounds like a good, solid name to me. :)

Welcome to the tower, too! For my name, I basically shortened my actual name, and used my sister's surname. I cheated a little there, heh. Maybe you can do the same as well? Take a name and twist and bend it a bit.

That sounds like a good, solid name to me. :)

I agree that Sam Thamyn sounds pretty good, too, though! :D

Thanks!

Yeah, I think I will go with that name, its a mixture of my real name and the shortened nickname people gave me.
If the name can be adjusted I think that would be done when applying to become citizen, so I have some extra time to think about it :)

Ah! Indeed!

I'm from around Amsterdam, which pretty much means that I haven't been much in the rest of the Netherlands

Where are you located?

Hi Matt, sorry I'm so late in welcoming you! You're only a few posts away from being able to apply for Citizenship, so it's definitely worth getting to 25! At that point you'll see a whole lot more of the site (including our Tavern!) I like your suggestion for a name as well, it rolls off the tongue nicely ;)

Hope to see you in the Olde Warder & Hen soon ;)

Ah, an amsterdam kid :p I don't we currently have any of those on the forum. I am from Arnhem myself.
But you haven't seen much else of the country? You'd better change that then when we organise an event somewhere outside of Arnhem ;)

Apart from the occasional drive, I haven't seen much of the country :look:
If there is an event in the Netherlands, I'll try to be there, it looks interesting from what I've read

well, you got 25 posts now. So i'd advice to quickly get your citizen application on the way and explore the rest of the forums ;)
