This sounds awesome! :D Thank you for the hard work!

One maybe stupid question, which may be because of tiredness, foreign language or just general saturday evening feel...

Serving one full term as Head/Commander, Heart/Honor Guard, and Sitter/Councilor will earn you one. Serving as staff, administrator, and Executive will earn you one.

Does this mean that to get one Group pride merit you'll have to serve one full term as Head, Heart and Sitter (i.e. one term in all three positions to get one merit) or is it that you get one Group pride merit when serving as HoA, another serving as a Heart, and another again serving as a Sitter (i.e. 3 separate merits for 3 separate services)? and the same with the Climbing the ladder category?

Sorry if it's a stupid question! :embarassed:

It's the first way you describe it, Taika. To get the group pride for you, you'd have to be Brown Sitter, Brown Heart and Brown HoA at one point to qualify. same for the climbing the ladder - you'd need to serve as a staff member, *and* an admin, *and* an executive at one point to get it.

For me, I don't qualify for the Group pride one because I was never chosen to serve in the Hall even though I was Heart and then HoA Blue...but I get climbing the ladder since I've served as staff in different departments, was an admin (HoA Blue) and then an exec.

*hopes that is clear*

Xylina - it's serve on three different committees. So if you serve on two committees at one event and one at a second event, that counts as three different committees.

For everyone reading, please note that "serve" is the important part there. If you signed up for a committee but did nothing, we're unlikely to count that towards a Merit. :P

And Viv handled the other questions!

Thanks guys. I can tell a lot of hard work went into this. As for the library editing. For old articles like Mat, Cadsuane, or Moiraine when each book comes out we add the info for the characters, but we don't write a whole new article. Does that count as writing an article? If not, how many suck edits do we have to do to add up to an article. now that we are so late in the series we do a lot of edits to old articles but not so much new articles. Thanks you.

Looks great!!!

I wont even try to figure out what I qualify for... it wont be much, unless you have a "just kinda hangs out for obscene amounts of time" badge hidden in there somewhere.

For the library, it will probably depend on what kind of editing/update it is. A minor update (eg adding that a character was with Perrin during some event) is going to count as an edit. A substantial one, or a re-write of an entry already there to fully expand it (such as has been done for Moiriane and Siuan) are going to count as articles as they almost completely re-did the original.
Some, such as Egwene in Book 12 are very large updates, so will probably count as an article, but it will likely come down to individual cases, especially as some of the articles are no bigger or more work than the updates have been.

Would you get the Group merit if you were Sitter, Heart, and Interim HoA for a while? :look:
