If you had to choose, Which Forsaken would you HATE to have as a Nemesis ?? Also which Fosaken do you think has the coolest Backstory/is the neatest ?

For Me its M'hael !!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL He is a huge d*ck! LOL But i love his style! He is super dooper cool!!!!!! Also equally cool is AGINOR. The fact that he created all of that shadowspawn id neat-o!

The scariest Forsaken? Hmm........ Semhirage! LOL scary B*tch!! hahahahahaha I would NOT like to be at HER mercy!

Most infuriating = Moghedian. Every time she escaped or Nynaeve let her live I :facepalm. Same sort of frustrations with Lanfear.

Scariest, tho, is tougher. Probably Graendal or Moridin. I agree M'Hael is awesome. Sermihage we know less of so the mystery helps. Same with Sermihage. Demandred turned out to be amazing, later on...

None of them really scare me, in the books, but I think Graendal is the most creepy. :cheeseeni:. All those soulless people

Hm, the Forsaken I wouldn't want to be my nemesis is probably Demandred. He's completely nuts, and I'd say probably the most skilled of the Forsaken. As for the back story... I think Aginor. He's responsible for having created Trollocs and Myrdraal and the other shadowspawn, and that's pretty amazing considering how much the Shadow relied on them. So I agree with you there :P

Scariest Forsaken... I think maybe Lanfear. She was completely unpredictable, and she was fuelled by a passion that may have only been equalled by Demandred's hatred for Lews Therin. Moridin is another possibility though. Having as much control as he did over the other Forsaken.

Hmm, I wouldn't want to have Lanfear set against me. The fact that she was so skilled in T'A'R as well as in the real world would make her pretty nasty. And unlike Moghedien, she'd not be afraid of confronting you head on. I mean, all the Forsaken are nasty, but Lanfear's crazy as well. Evil and unpredictable? Not fun.

Graendal is clever, and I think even more clever than she ever let us see.

None of the male Forsaken really did it for me. Ishamael/Moridin was probably the most intriguing. Aginor (before we knew him) yes, he is interesting. Being responsible for the creation of a heckuva lot of Shadowspan is something I don't feel he really gets enough credit for. Demandred, I just found annoying. Same with Sammael and Ravhin.

Honestly, I didn't find any of the Forsaken very scary. But I do have to agree with Dart about Mohgedian. She was so infuriating. I was so annoyed with her, and in the last book she just annoyed me more.

As for the coolest... I'd have to say Moridin. Don't know why, but I liked him. (As well as someone can like a Forsaken anyway)

Lanfear was always my favorite, and I think she has an interesting back story, but I always liked Asmodean's back story just for the sheer silliness of going over to the dark side for more time to play music.

I always found Moghedian infuriating as well. Seriously, she drove me up a wall.

The one I would least like coming after me it is a toss up between Semirhage and Graendal. They were both devious and truly enjoyed hurting others.

I never really liked Lanfear. I do agree with you Jodea when you say her back story was interesting. It really was, and I enjoyed listening to it. But other than that I greatly disliked Lanfear.

Lanfear creeps me out the most -- the crazed stalker obsessive ex-girlfriend thing to an extreme level.

The coolest, well. Moridin, I guess, for the James Dean factor, but I'd also say that Graendal's pretty fascinating. Her approach to being evil -- studying the others and their motives soas to be able to not just manipulate them but also determine what they're likely to do anyway, not so much the "hammer with Compulsion to make some obedient slaves" part -- is a lot more interesting than Sammael's "RULE ALL THE THINGS!!" approach or Demandred's "Lews Therin sux!" credo.

For me, I think the scariest was Semirhage. I think she was one of the Forsaken who was truly evil to her core.

Interestingly I wonder if i was in the same place as Rand or Mat...i dont know if i wouldve had the strength to resist Lanfear! :) I mean, shes super seductive, she "seems" to really want me to succeed. You have to admire her ambition! I mean she wants to dispose of BOTH the dark one and the creator and rule. Thats kinda crazy, yet kinda neat-o!
I think she wouldve been the one most likely to turn me!

Nemisis = Demandred. Hands down, the craziest and most infuriating of the forsaken.

Coolest, is a bit harder. Early on it was Lanfear and as I've not had other "favourites" I think I have to stick with her. I mostly feel sorry for her though... Poor, evil, dense and beautiful Lanfear.

Scariest would be Aginor or Semirhage. Semi is your stereotypically psychopath, and that's just scary as all hell to think of someone like that with the one power. Aginor because of the mad scientist aspect. He was crazy smart and came up with all those shadowspawn, and gholams (sp?) are probably one of the creepiest things ever.

Most interesting, to me, would be Lanfear. I'm just fascinated by what she was doing when researching the bore, how she sensed the TP, how the bore was drilled. And at one point (can't remember exactly where) Rand-as-LTT accuses her of knowing full well what would happen when she drilled the bore. He says something like "you gave your soul to him (the DO) before he was even freed." We don't know if that's true, but if it is, is so interesting. She KNEW what she was doing and did it anyway.

True! she seems so calm and smooth , yet the times when she does lose her temper are reasonably scary. Its like she is very very very unbalanced but you only see it ocasionally. As long as you are doing what she wants you to be doing, she is sweet as pie...but if you dont? BAM! And yes..to KNOW what would happen and do it anyway?? Ambitious is not even the right word for Lanfear!

Most infuriating? Ishamael!

Kill Lews Therin! Don't kill Lews Therin! No, wait, kill Lews Therin! Don't touch Lews Therin, he is mine! Actually, kill him!

ahahaha that is so true. At least Demandred was consistent about it. You know for the longest time I thought Demandred was Taim... pretty much right up until M'Hael became a Forsaken himself.
