(1-13) Favorite random minor characters for no good reason

I was off reading something somewhere else about Tarna Feir, and it reminded me how sad I am that she's all 13X13 screwy and how I hope it's fixable.

And then it occurred to me I really have no logical reason to be so all about Tarna Feir. But I really just like her. :cheeseeni:

So I guess she's kind of a guilty pleasure minor character, or something. I know I have a few others too. :P

So what are your random favorite minor characters that you like for no real reason, you just do? :laugh:

i like Hurin and Gaul, just because they're good solid people. the word is dependable

I really like Saerin. I guess she's like semi-minor.

I like Jahar Narishma, too. Although I have no real idea why.

I'd have to go with Bain and Chiad. For some reason I always love reading parts they're in. (even if I hated the Perrin/Faile arcs they were a part of)

Uno, adorable? Is it the missing eye, the perpetual scowl, or the incessant cursing?

I always liked Talmanes, at least before BS changed his character. Not really sure why. I like the scene where he meets Mat, looking him up and down before agreeing to his plan if he'll lead one half of his men. I like his stone-cold seriousness, which made a great contrast to Mat's character. He did a lot to build the Band.

I like Dobraine and Darlin. Both solid men who have demonstrated they would die for their principles, unlike so many other nobles.

Tarna and Petra redeemed the Red for me, probably for a lot of people. It is really sad to see Tarna fall. Here's hoping whatever was done is reversible.

I kinda like Teslyn as well. She's not a lovable character by any means, but unlike Joline and Edisina, she seems fair-minded enough to give credit where credit is due, even to someone like Mat.

I also like Tarna for no real reason, and Sebban Balwer. And also for some reason I like Sarene Nemdahl. :cheeseeni:

I have to say hes not just one of my fav minor chars. Ingtar Shinowa is one of my fav chars, period, in the series. And the scene where he confesses to Rand at the end of The Great Hunt... awesome.

Wow...it's just interesting to me to see all these different responses. Some of those characters I wouldn't even refer to as minor. Morgase, for instance, I don't see as minor.

That's why I don't think I can pick one necessarily. Because I'm not sure what "minor" is. My best answer, I think, is Loial. Still doesn't seem super minor, but he's been absent a lot so...poor Loial...

Morgase has been annoying me lately too. In a she-needs-to-spend-less-time-with-Perrin way. :P

I do like Saerin and Pevara, and I've always had a warm fuzzy for Amys.

Teslyn is awesome as is Gaul. And lately I've been warming to Alanna.

Me too. I have always liked Narishma, Grady and Neald for some unknown reason.

Also not sure if they counts as "minor characters," but I also really Likes Bryne and Suain.
