Still numb

Hi everyone, I'm Arecias Dezell. I finished AMoL last week and I still can't get my mind off it. It's irrational! I need to get lectured by an Aes Sedai of the White Ajah on how it's not logical to be so attached to the characters in WoT. Well I'm glad there's people here who seem to be bigger WoT fans than I am! I've read books 1-9 three times, currently reading book 10 for the third time, then I plan on re-reading 11-14 (a little slower this time). Anyways I look forward to talking to you!

OMG I know EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL! I'm the same way! Welcome! I'm on my third re read of 1-10 myself... I really need to concentrate and comprehend better what I'm reading.

Agreed! I'm going to reread the last few books too, especially AMOL which I devoured way too quickly. I also completely understand being really attached to the characters... they all seem like real life people and friends to me :look:

I'm new myself, and I'm at book 9 for the first time - but I passed the books along to my mother and she has finished all like in be month! So I know what is going to happen, at least some, so I'm on edge here! And everything people say about amol? I cannot wait to have read them all once!

Anika Sedai,"emotional shell shock" is exactly right! What's cool though is that I'm re-reading book 10 right now and I am seeing the characters in a whole different light, knowing what happens now at the Last Battle.

Chalisea, I am willing to listen to any logic that might help me out! Like Vivienne said, I am so attached to these characters. I got to get ahold of myself

Welcome, and no its not odd to be so attached. I'm not finished with the series yet, I'm halfway through book 12, for the first time, but I already feel like the characters are friends and very much real. Sounds odd, I know but they do. I'm actually almost dreading getting through the last little bit of the series because then it will be over for me and I'm not sure I want it to be over just yet. I have found myself unconsciously slowing down once I hit book 12. Don't think that I'm mentally ready for it to be over. OMG I do need help. Is there a willing white out there to knock some logical thinking into my head? Lol.
