Rand isnt in a aeil body.. presumably... thier is the faint chance that that body could actualy be aeil, maybe even a channeler aeil.... buuut he may not be able to sing to the plants now... buuuut maybe he can based on what he knows, more so he could proly just will the food to be thier or the plants to grow without hte song... or will the song to just exist lols

then again maybe he fixed that when he was sealing hte dark one somehow? maybe all the food surpluses will unspoil or better yet maybe excess food surpluses could be found a last thing to fix things the seanchan presumably had good food stores for the most part and the chances are thiers lots of edible food about to show up somehow, war that comes is likely going to be idiologies battling or fighting over who rules etcvarious thrones etc... maybe it just means the seanchan battles to come or the fact thiers gona be a new age of war... eventualy if not right away in that age perhaps the next or one more to come :/ i mean the outlander novels wer proly the point of that though etc :/

He's in Moridin's.

The Seanchan? They are in the midst of a civil war still. I doubt any aid will be coming from there for a while. Additionally, the WoT is back to normal.... the DO has no extra influece anymore, and as such neither do the former ta'veren. Food will grow as food normally gorws, and that will take some time. Things shouldn't just fix themselves, and Randland is probably going to be hit very hard by a famine before the growing season comes around again.

Thankfully, there should not be war for quite some time. The Dragon's Peace was successful, and in this version the Aiel are included. War will have to take a back seat for a while.

But with the victory over the DO, it seemed like the whole world was "blooming", in a similar way to when post-epiphany/consolidation Rand came down from Dragonmount and things were blooming. Obviously not as fast as that (the apple trees were within minutes) but it does talk about even Shayol Ghul being covered in flowers, I'm sure? It could be that this is enough to at least prevent a world-wide famine, though I've no doubt rations will still be tight for a while.

The "blooming" reference is a reference to a horn mentioned in association with the Merovingians--that horn made the desert bloom (I don't know where my copy is, but it's from The Woman with the Alabaster Jar: Mary Magdalene and the Holy Grail, by Margaret Starbird). It sounds very familiar to the "blooming" bit Ealandrelle mentions.

We don't know what nationality Moridins body came from, but his physical description is as follows:

Moridin - very tall and broad-shouldered, he has very blue eyes and a deep voice and looks to be in his mid twenties with black hair. He has a square chin.

It does mention that the world was blooming, everywhere. Obviously food will still need to be harvested/prepared, but I like to think that the raw materials are there. Yes it'll still be hard work and I'd imagine that the Aiel will be busy for a while. Didn't Nicola's prophecy something like "The Battle done but the world not done with battle"? Or something along those lines. It's not an instant "Hugs and puppies" victory, but I do think that Rand's victory will at least have given them a head start on the food issue.

Hugs and puppies! That cracks me up. I do agree with what you're saying. It can't magically be ok.

I just have to say...if my husband suddenly looked like his arch enemy I'd have a really hard time being comfortable around him for a while. :look:

That was my FIRST thought when I realized he has Moridin's body. XD

"All 3 of Rand's wifes still could feel Rand's presence through the bond. Did you miss it? "

I don't think Ninya is talking about the bond-just his physical features. Even if I could FEEL my husband was my husband, if it didn't LOOK like my husband, I don't think being intimate would be option for a while. I would have to fall in love all over again with this newish person.

The lion sword, the dedicated spear, she who sees beyond. Three on the boat, and he who is dead yet lives. The great battle done, but the world not done with battle. The land divided by the return, and the guardians balance the servants. The future teeters on the edge of a blade" (Nicola's first Foretelling;

The reclaiming of Seanchan and the Crystal Throne by Fortuana. And also continued battles with the Sharans, since they didn't sign the treaty with Rand.
