Welcome, Vedan! I am a teacher too, and from Norway -- so a neighbour, kinda, though Russia is a giant so that depends completely where in R. you are from. I have only been to Russia once, and only saw the inside of an airport on our four-hour wait, but I would really like to go there 'for real' at some point.

Welcome! :joy Can we see any examples of your book binding work? I love handmade books.

Hello and welcome from a fellow Slav! I like your name, and I'll second the rest that it looks like quite a relaxing, meditative hobby to have. :pleased-1:

I am also a teacher - I teach English, Swedish, and sometimes Serbian too. I'm currently trying to get back into French because I'd studied it for eight years very intensively, I just haven't had a lot of opportunities to use it as much, so I'm a bit rusty, but it'd be a shame for it to fall through entirely... How are you finding life in China?

Welcome! I used some veeeeeeery basic book binding techniques to make myself a folio earlier this year. Basically I made a fabric covered cardboard cover and spine, with end papers and elastics along the spine to hold smaller booklets.

Cool, I'm mostly satisfied with life in China, although I hope I can move to a better place someday.
