@Jaryd Kosari has been a member since 2003, and in that time they have served in a ton of various roles from minion to Director. In addition to their experience moderating for Tar Valon, they brings to the table an impressive amount of experience moderating for other communities as well. Truly an excellently qualified candidate for the position they applied for: Master of the Watch - Moderation.
However, we had no applicants at all for the Master of the Watch - Interface position, and alternate candidates were not interested in the role. Thankfully, Jaryd was willing to step up and accept some of the responsibilities of that role as well. They will be also taking over the management of the Gatekeepers; this means that the Gatekeepers, Moderators and Discord Operators will all report through this role.
In light of the increased load, we are renaming the position to simply be "Master of the Watch" with no subheading, and are looking at renaming the "Master of the Watch - Infrastructure" position to something more fitting (we haven't landed on a name yet, leaning towards "Jailor"
).
