Absolutely...what Cassie said. By that point, it's starting to cool in the morning/evening, but the daytime is usually pretty pleasant. Chattanooga is on the southern state line, so it stays somewhat warm overall. Other parts are mountains, so it can be cooler in the higher elevations for sure. For me, it's shorts with a light jacket or long-sleeve t-shirt weather. For my wife, it's jeans and hoodie weather, lol. It does tend to vary, but never gets terribly cold. Christmas this past year, I wore shorts all day and never got cold.

It got lost I think but @Vivianna L'antreau do we know if there is going to be a room buyout this year, or a way to request to have one of the king sized bedrooms?

If I recall correctly, it’s sweater and/or light jacket weather depending on your cold tolerance. Most of SDS would probably be is short sleeves because they’re crazy. (Thinking Dom, Sean, and Soro in particular). Like most places, it can be crazy. I’ve seen 70 degrees at Thanksgiving, and 30 at Halloween.
Ok, so late summer for me. :rofl I... mostly kid.

My birthday falls in those dates, sadly money getting there might be an issue.

for those of us that paid for the last scheduled Anni and it was never refunded, I don't remember if the money was just converted to "tower" money or if we aren't able to attend this will the money paid be refunded? I remember there was a conversation but not what the end result was...

We will also be in a private area with private bathrooms such that the “laws” can FOAD. We can’t control what a state does, but we did arrange it such that we will be able to care for our own.

Good!

Also, I may be able to make this. It's enough time to make it so. Now COVID, world, everything get yourself together so we can all be together. :love

Also, the dates make me happy because November is usually easier for me than Sept/Oct. I was a little worried about that when I heard we were flipping Anni/FB. However, I totally support changing things up so more are able to attend gatherings.

From what I understand, we'll be in areas where it's literally just us. We'll have lodging spaces for groups of members (just members, no one else visiting the park), and a group facility that we'll have the sole use of for the event.

COVID-19 sucks, and I'm also sure we'll have safeguards in place while we're at Anni. We'll effectively be isolated as a group once we're there, aside from the 1-3 of us that might have contact with the park staff. :)

Awesome! I figured there would be some safeguards in place too, but it's also more than a year away. I support all of that though by the way and appreciate the work, time and care going into planning this event.

I believe if you just reach out to @Cassie Dainar , she'll be able to refund any monies from last Anni :)

Yes. The money that wasn't refunded from 2020 can be used for this Anni, this Euro (assuming Europe opens up enough to plan an event), or it will be refunded in full. At any time you decide you won't be attending the next event, just send me an email with your tower name and that you want a refund and I'll get it sorted. It might take a few extra days to send money because I drew down our PayPal balance due to some shady happenings that I've heard are going on between PayPal and some other non-profit social groups. I didn't want us to end up with our funds locked for some random reason.

I totally intend to go, even as a transgender woman. I already live in a ultra-conservative state (Alabama), so going to Tennessee won't be much of a difference. I am very glad to hear, though, that we will be in a private area.

However, I totally understand why others would not want to attend!

It's good that we're going to have a literal safe space. I feel irresponsible for not thinking of this. Thank y'all for pointing this out.
