I've been chatting with my friends/family a lot recently on what I'm hoping to see once the show has been airing for a few weeks, as far as fandom is concerned. One of the biggest reasons I'm so excited about the show is how it's an opportunity for me to share my deep and abiding love of WoT with friends/family who haven't had a chance to read it (or don't want to, fair, it's long), so like us all I hope it becomes as popular as at least The Mandalorian or The Witcher, and hopefully surpasses Game of Thrones because ugh.

Anyhoo, so y'know how "This is the way" became a thing after The Mandalorian? or how "Toss a Coin to your Witcher" got covered a bazillion times? I was thinking about what I'd like to see come out of the show as a meme.

"Dance with Jack o' the Shadows," obviously, has to take over YouTube.

I want "may the last embrace of the mother welcome you home" to raise goosebumps on everyone's arms.

I want "may you always find water and shade" to replace "may the odds be ever in your favor."

Can "Death is lighter than a feather; duty, heavier than a mountain" just be everywhere please?

Nynaeve braid-tugging reaction gifs just plastered all over Facebook.

I also think that tv show viewers will fall in love with Mat instantly, whereas, as a book reader, he seemed kinda...immature?...to me until at least Book 6 or 7.

I am planning to do two things: get a Photoshop subscription so I can make oh-so-fahncy gif sets, and have a "What Ajah are you?" quiz all ready to go.

I'm not sure if there are any good images of Gawyn we could use - most don't have him yelling
Maybe we could get a good pic of Shatner and make him look like Gawyn? He isn't as visually distinct as some of the other characters.
But maybe the long blonde hair would work? Not sure....

I'm gonna be claiming toh debts wherever and whenever possible. THAT WAS MY RANCH DRESSING IN THE BREAK ROOM FRIDGE YOU OWE ME TOH

....and then handing out ridiculous ways to reduce toh - carry this mug to the supply room and fill it up with paperclips, then carry it to your desk and empty the paperclips, then do it again!
