Hello People of Tar Valon, my name is Nadezhda al'Lanahrin (formerly Damodred after I read the rules), though in real life my friends call me Josi. I was born in Hollywood, Florida and raised in Huntsville, Alabama where I currently reside. I started reading The Wheel of Time nearly three (3) years ago and I haven't finished it yet. Usually, I fly through books (*looks at Stormlight Archive*) But for some reason, I just can't fly through The Wheel of Time. I am currently on Lord of Chaos and I am rather enjoying it so far! My obsession with the Aes Sedai led me here, because I was looking at Blue Ajah symbols and flags on Google Images.

For as long as I can remember, I have been an avid fantasy reader. My favorites in the Adult genre are, of course, J.R.R. Tolkien, Robert Jordan, and Brandon Sanderson. With Sanderson being at the top for me. I would say that the Stormlight Archive is something fundamental to me and who I am, especially seeing as I read the first three books in High School. I read Young Adult Fantasy as well, being a big fan of Sarah J. Maas, Victoria Aveyard, and Sabaa Tahir.

Right now, I am a college student who works at a restaurant to pay for school, while also serving on the City of Huntsville's Human Relations Commission as a Board Member. I am an aspiring writer who hopes to become a professional author and publish one day. I look forward to getting to know you all and getting involved in this magnificent place!

You are missing out, in my opinion, Gaidin. Stormlight is just exceptional. I know they're massive, but somehow not large enough.

Thank you, Nymala Aes Sedai! I am glad I got everything sorted as well, I am grateful for your help earlier. Indeed, I might be biased towards the Blue Ajah because of Moiraine and Siuan.

Yeah, I love to write Fantasy! I have been working on a series for sometime now that is Fantasy. I would say that I have been inspired a lot by Jordan, Sanderson, and Tolkien. Though, I have also been heavily influenced by myself being LGBTQ+ and by the authors Sabaa Tahir and Tomi Adeyemi to add diversity to my books. I don't think there's enough LGBTQ+ representation within the Fantasy genre.

My favorite character is Shallan. I love her character arc, and I also love to draw. :giggle

Welcome to Tarvalon Nadezhda! I took about a 10 year gap in my forst reading of the series and recently finished it. It isnt a sprint but a marathon.

I think you’ll love Rhythm of War then. Shallan has a prominent part in that story.

I was surprised to see the Headquarters of Tar Valon was in Huntsville. Color me amazed, Avendaella Aes Sedai. It’s not the most well-known of cities but we’re trying to change that.
