I've been trying to not get my hopes up by avoiding all but major casting news. However, I have to echo everyone's disappointment of Kennedy's casting as well. I was really hoping she would be our Siuan.
Verin's always described as "small" and "bird-like," so I always pictured someone very petite. Maybe someone like Leslie Caron...

Yeah, I always saw Verin as plump as well. But then, my inner picture of characters are often wrong, and may not even be influenced by the actual descriptions in the book

I've always seen Cadsuane as Asian in my head, and I can't pin down why. Kathy Bates would definitely have the personality down, though. The woman's a force of nature.

Yeah, Kathy Bates has a Verin physique, but you can see the steel in her backbone. Miriam Margolyes could work, but could she look ageless? I like Camryn Manheim.
