I always envisioned some of the songs to have the same base tune but different lyrics based on the wetlander culture or even different areas of the same country.
Like when Matt and Rand were going through their inn tour circa 998 NE. I can imagine them playing in an inn singing a different song than the audience. Tinker in the kitchen and Jack o the Shadows would sound amazing.
