But watching the trailer - her hair definitely isn't the same in both.

That's DEFINITELY an Aes Sedai makeup, look closely, you can see the smooth piece they've put on her cheeks and forehead to make her look more ageless....

Just googled her and yeah I completely agree. She is one million percent Verin! I would be surprised if they cast someone white for Siuan, anyway.

I don't know, Siuan's blue eyes are mentioned a million times. Those are some piercing blue eyes.

That said, I'm totally happy with her as either Verin or Siuan. I think she'd knock either role out of the park.

Siuan I would like to see have blue eyes, olive skin and black or dark brown hair, I imagine her hair straight and kind of tied back to a low, modest ponytail or in a low bun, she seems like she'd be a very low maintenance person lol

She could certainly act Siuan as well as Verin!! She's got that "Headmistress" vibe to her.

I hadn't thought about the age, that does seem to make it more likely Verin. . .

what worries me is that we know (more or less "know") that we'll be seeing New Spring flashbacks early on, which means Siuan SHOULD be there. But we don't have any evidence of someone who could be her other than Kennedy. But Verin is 100% in the beginning of the series.

Per Rafe's Q&A, I thought they were done shooting season 1. Did I misread that? maybe it's just they're done shooting the first few episodes?
