Today I start The Dragon Reborn. I started with tEotW in December, so I'm at a pace of a book a month. I should be done with Fires of Heaven by JordanCon. I might need to do a little more if I want to be done with all 14 books by the end of December + New Spring.

I live local to the convention so it's way easy for me to go. This year I did get a hotel room for Saturday night so I don't have to worry about driving home.

The first two times, I drove 9 hours from Shreveport, LA .

This time, I'm meeting @Adanys Wynterwulf in the middle in Dallas and flying with her. :giggle

I really like the audio books, in fact I was delighted to find they narrate Brandon Sanderson's books too! I just like being able to tell who's talking based on how they talk :pleased-1: although some pronouncing of names is not how I'd do it, I can overlook that :giggle

I think when it's a re-read they're best. I just like being able to listen and do at the same time, cooking dinner, doing house work. . . It just makes it easier and I get more time to "read"

Absolutely! These books actually works very well for audio books, with lots of descriptions and explanation :)

I really love Michael Kramer and Kate Reading and have all of the books on Audible and have listened to them many times. I have a super long commute so, I sometimes run out of new things and end up back to WoT. I quickly learned a few things about audio books. There isn't anyway to skip ahead if you don't like the chapter or get bored. For example, when ever a new book came out I immediately jumped to the Forsaken chapters just to see what they were doing.

The second is that I can't spell anything anymore. Finally, I initially had a hard time with it because my imagined pronunciations did not match their pronunciations. All of that being said, the people reading the novels make all the difference.I've got 10 years worth of random fantasy and scifi so the reader has to be super annoying to drive me off but it does happen from time to time. So, your mileage may very.
