Heya folks,
As those of you I'm close to know, I'm participating in GISH this year. It's a 'scavenger hunt' (more like a task list) that Misha Collins started way back when and has since snowballed into something amazing and very, very, VERY Tower-like. A huge number of the tasks that participants must complete are focused on helping their local community and making the world a better place. A portion of all proceeds go to charitable purposes and to fund the non-profit Random Acts (randomacts.org) which makes its mission to go about performing random acts of kindness around the world.
It's beautiful. I love it so much.
Anyway, this year one of our tasks is to raise money to help women survivors of genocide in Rwanda by providing a plot of farmland + resources to establish a cooperative farm and market so they can support their children and help their community thrive. The overall goal is to raise $108,000, but my team is just trying to get together$300 $500 of that total. All donations are 100% tax deductible, and 100% of donations go to the cause, so this is 100% a fantastic thing to do.
If you're interested in helping me hit our goal, please go to the link below and donate! I will personally bake cookies (or do some other act of kindness) for everyone who contributes- just let me know you did!
