Thank you!

Btw- unrelatedly, I just read the post about becoming a Full Member and discovered that I have been spamming by replying to every post individually, one after another, instead of quoting all of them into a single post. Mea culpa! I apologize, and will fix it on the next round.

Welcome to the White Tower, Sakan!

I'm sorry about your friend, but glad that you found us.

I'm amazed you've never heard of tarvalon.net, as active as you've been in WoT fandom. You'll find the structure of this site modeled quite closely after the White Tower from the books, which I think is a credit to Robert Jordan, because not many online communities withstand the test of time like this one has.

I'm actually surprised I never got into RPing Wheel of Time. I used to RP Star Trek a lot... like a *lot* a lot. But I never got into RPing Wheel of Time for some reason. Anyway, it's nice to meet a fellow sim-junkie :)

Thank you! I’m glad to be here. The WoT has long been a fundamental part of my self-description. Finding this community kind of fills a social WoT void that was left by my friend’s passing.

I actively RPed into the early 00s, but I think I was less active online when this site came online. But... I’m here now :-)

Ah, that makes sense, you were active in the fandom *before* it was cool :P I originally joined in 2009, and I believe this site was created in 2001ish? So it would have been new and tiny when you were actively RPing.
