Hey all! I genuinely don't remember where I used to RPG way back when (2004?). Thought it might have been here, possibly elsewhere. Either way, I felt a hankering to start up again. I found an old hard drive today that had a bunch of saved story clips on it and made me yearn for those days. I played a Gaidin trainee by the name of Daerien Avahre. I also wrote with a friend who went by Ilene Avahre and was working towards the Green Ajah. Yes, we played brother and sister. Sadly life got in the way (University first, and then busy real life industries) and we stopped. Anyway, I'm back! Yay!
As for the questions...
Perrin was always my favorite character in the series. I always enjoy the reluctant hero type, and when it's attached to a beastmaster type ability all the better. Faile was eerily similar to my girlfriend at the time and it struck a familiar chord in my life. Guess that chord has never been cut.
No idea where I found this website originaly, to be honest. I know it was one of the few that was quite popular at the time of me looking back in the early 00's and was the first name to come to mind this time around when I thought about WOT RPG's.
In real life, I used to work in the film industry in Hollywood North. Now I work as a Jr Project Coordinator for a major retail company and oversee renovation projects. When I'm not on the road, I also write automotive reviews for new press cars. Between that and having a rental while on the road, I don't know why I still own my own car lol
I'm from Vancouver, Canada, so I speak English and poor French. I also have passing knowledge of German and basic vocal Japanese.
Apart from WoT, I enjoy Terry Pratchett's Discworld Series and GRRM's ASOIAF. I just wanted to put on record that I read both series before they became popular. Yes, I'm one of those people
Anyway, looking forward to being here (possibly back?) and getting into some writing!
