*sits down under an old appletree near Tar Valon*

*looks to the sky and the White Tower*

There must be others... Still outside of Tar Valon. Maybe I should make a little fire?

*stands up*

*grap some wood here*

*and some there*

*makes a little fireplace*

*lite the fire*

*sits down again*

How will it be, to enter this white tower? Will I learn new things about the wheel? Will I make friends? Will it change me? - How will it be, to start at the bottom again? - Will somebody join this little fire? Or is it forbidden to lite up a fire near Tar Valon?

*From atop one of the many rooftops of the White Tower in TarValon enjoying the night air...and the view (seriously, how many people look for others on rooftops?) :look: :pleased-1: I spot a new light pop up from just outside of town, just a small little fire, so it appears...

About 15 minutes later...
Approaching the area of the little fire, I stayed in the shadows, not making a sound. I see a young woman sitting, waiting. Unsure of what her intentions were and me probably thinking too much on the situation...I circle the little encampment so I'm behind her and slowly move in. At the edge of the fire's glow, I stop, lean against a tree and wait. My black cloak and leather armor blending me in with the night, one hand resting on the hilt of an axe on my right side.

Oh, hello Aes Sedai! :)
Nice to see you at this little fire.

No, I haven't been to Tar Valon Net before. - But I am a long time member of a germanspeaking white tower with a similar system like TV.net... So some things here, are the same as I know it. And some are different. Very interesting. :)

The 'busy' days in that community are over, and now I have got time to look around here. :)

Was there something moving behind us?

*turns her head*

Walking the circuit was always a thing she did. Around the edges of the Tower grounds.

Nearly stumbling into a tree , she looks up and spots a fire. Just a small flicker of a campfire. Shadows denser than the rest suggested people.
As she crept closer, another equally as dense shadow was appearing to lean against the tree.

She slowly walked towards the tree, hoping she wasn't making to much noise..

Well met traveler! I see your fire could use some assistance. I promise I won't ignite you with it...

*"A Sedai and a Gaidin both show up. Perhaps this is nothing more than another newcomer to the Tower," I say to myself, "Guess I should go ahead and introduce myself as well." Someone was coming up behind me. I could hear the faint sounds of crunching of leaves and twigs under their feet. It was only one person from the sound of it. I turned my head to look.

The fire exploded into life after the Gaidin had said something that I wasn't listening to, lighting the area a lot more. The shadows no longer helped to conceal me. I was sure the Sedai already knew I was there, if not, the Gaidin surely did. My head tilted slightly to one side and I squinted, trying to make out the person coming up from behind me. I could tell it was a woman. I made no effort to quiet my steps as I went toward her, also releasing the weapon hilt in my hand, letting it drop back to my side.*

"Ah, Syera," I started, once I saw her face, "How're you doing this fine evening?"

*After exchanging greetings, we decided to join the others by the fire to introduce ourselves as well.
I didn't recognize the Aes Sedai or Gaidin, but I was somewhat familiar of both groups they were from.*

"Good evening Sedai," *I gave a slight nod in her direction, then looked to the man, giving a nod as well,* "Gaidin."
*Turning to the lady I was sure was new here, I give a final nod.* "Ma'am. Nice to meet you. My name is Neo Stormbringer."

"Stormbringer you say? Such an ominous name, perhaps it will be necessary for me to keep an eye on you."

I've bread and cheese to share and perhaps some wine.

*takes a place near the edge of the circle of light and keeps wary eyes on the newcomers*

Syera and Ixialdor are familiar to me.

*relaxes into a conversational mood*

"What could bring such an unlikely group into the wood this night?"

*looks distractedly into the darkness beyond the fire*

*takes some of the cheese*

Thank you, Aes Sedai! I really started getting hungry...

*thinking* I'm hungry to see the town, too.

So... what are you all doing out of town? I mean... if I may ask... I waiting for the Gates to open... but you are all really living in Tar Valon, don't you?

*looks from the Gaidin to the Aes Sedai*

*out for an evening stroll, a lone Aes Sedai sees a flickering light in the distance*

"That's odd," she muses, and glides over to investigate. She sees a cheery group, already attended by several Aes Sedai, and nods in recognition and respect at her sisters and settles in by the fire just as an eager and nervous looking woman speaks up.

"Greetings," she says, settling her shawl around her waist in deference to the fire's heat. "We all have quarters within the Tower, child," she says in response to the woman's question, "But Aes Sedai and Gaidin come and go as they please. The Tower has room for all who enter it."

Yes, Novices and Recruits are confined to the Tower on the most part. They may post in Site Announcements and General I believe, but little elsewhere.

We do enjoy a bit of lite RPG but it seldom lasts long or gets too serious. We've, and by that I do admit myself, have taken it too far and have suffered the consequences of our/my indiscretions.

*returns to her satchel and withdraws small items of curiosity*

*mumbles quietly to self* "I know that I have a polishing cloth here somewhere."

"Do you yet find small pleasures in manual tasks? I once relied too heavily upon the Source for such things. Those without the Power frequently grow suspect of constant Weaving for mundane activities."

*starts laughing*

"Oh yes. I know what can happen, when lite-rpg gets out of order... But it is a nice thing. :) - As I went through the portal stones and am starting new in this white tower... I will have to do without saidar... I will have to get used to NOT use it... at least for a time... and if I do get the chance to visit the tower, I'll have to have permission of using it... At least thats what I am thinking... - Sure, I could aim to get in the Company-System, and forget that I ever used Saidar...
But I can't. :embarassed: I think nobody who is able to channel can easily just forget about Saidar... :look:"

*"Master Stormbringer? Hmm, nice ring to it."

Stepping off to the side so Syera is more visible, I answer Nynyra. "This is Syera. I caught her trying to sneak up on me." *I giggle and turn to give Syera a smile.*

I turn back to the fire, arching an eyebrow at Arisaema Sedai.* "Keep an eye on me?" *I chuckle.* "You may try as a great many others have. But just to warn you, they all too, have failed. You'd have to keep a leash on me as well as your eyes or I'd probably end up getting out of that too if you weren't watching.
I made my own name you know, "Stormbringer." I'd like to think of it as a beautiful, yet chaotic thing."

*I take a couple steps back, slowly upon hearing Arisaema talk about Recruits and Novices not being allowed to leave the Tower.*

*counts the number of leashes remaining within her satchel*

"I'm allowed more than 1 on a leash ya know."

"I'm rather attracted to 'chaotic beauty.' Hence I have Demandred himself on a leash for quite the few years now. That one hasn't managed to get away."

Please fell free to call me Ari, unfortunately I am not permitted to allow you to drop the Sedai. I find this company most pleasant and would gladly sit for a time and listen to stories told. I've little enough to share that isn't common knowledge in the Tower, though I might be persuaded to share a story myself.

Steps out from behind Neo, a wry smile appears on her face
'Good day all, I am Syera. An Accepted and aspiring to the Red Ajah.'

Syera nods at everyone and turns to smile at Neo, with a sparkle in her eyes. Turning back to the campfire, she curtsy to the Aes Sedai and greets her.
'Arisaema Sedai, good to see you again..' With a slight grin she smiles at the Green Aes Sedai and moves to sit down. Gathering her skirts around her.

"Hello Synera. - Do you like some cheese?"

*passes the cheese on* :cheeseeni:

*thinking* Ok... probably it sounds very chaotic for a stranger coming along and talking of portal stones and going to miss saidar... who want's to get into the tower...like I am... - Understandable, that nobody has anything to say about that...

*looks at Neo Stormbringer*

Storms are beautiful and they can bing chaos. True words... I enjoy thunderstorms... when they are not as bad and go to destroy or harm everything...
The good storms, with only little chaos. ;)

*whispers to Neo* "I read you like to destroy... like a BIG storm... especially the wall... that suits to your name. And it suits to a grolm, who thinks the wall is his enemy... ;)

*looks at the Gaidin*

"As I can see, you are from the VC? What do you think should I know about the VC, before the gate opens and I can visit Tar Valon?"
