I cannot express how excited I am!! I have No idea how I'm getting there or where I will stay but I'm having a two week holiday in Scotland!! Starting with a work conference in Glasgow and ending with our rondevu in Calendar :pleased-1:

Next year's diary has been released and as it stands I do have the 2nd/3rd off work. However the 1st isn't entirely clear as to what is going on. Hoping to get it cleared up sometime soon but it's looking like I may have a chance to attend.

Sensible in terms of budget or time? I've done the Virgin train from Glasgow to London and back again, and it was fine, but I was in 1st Class so perhaps could be biased :look: I think it was Syera who found that the sleeper train was not too bad price-wise. Saying that, there are some really cheap flights available these days, and flying is definitely quicker, even with having to be at the airport earlier etc.
