Hello all, I just finished the last book in the series and I went looking for some answers and I stumbled into here! This seems like a fine place to kick up my feet, light a pipe of good Two Rivers tabac, and talk shop. I always love a bit of RP, too.
To answer the prompt questions:
1. Favorite Character & Why - Matrim Cauthon. He just wants to live a normal life, but the weave keeps pulling him along. I just love the way he reacts to getting dragged into those situations and how he always tries to be himself, even when Fortuona dresses him up.
2. How did I find this place? See intro. Also, I liked what I saw; intelligent and calm debate about ideas.
3. What do I do? I am currently going back to college (I was in the Army for a bit). I like pretty much everything about the outdoors, I enjoy hiking and all that nonsense. I am also a huge nerd. I like video games, comic books, anime, and fantasy/sci-fi books. I am trying to get into cosplay, but making the costume is a long and hard process, especially if you don't have a place to work!
4. Favorite Non-WoT book/author: I have to chose just one? Well, my most recent favorite is the Monster Hunter International by Larry Correia Now that I think about it, it is really very similar to WoT, but with a "I'll just shoot the BBEG in the face" vibe.
