I am originally from the states, and I am studying here for 1-3 years, depending on which program I enter. I started my studies last week.

If anyone is in Ireland and a Wheel of Time fan, PM me on here or reply here, and I will PM you with my Irish number. Would like advice on what to see, etc. Cheers!

Well I have been off and on TV since 2012 I think. 2013 I finally made this account as you can see that is my join date. I just wanted to do a new introduction because trying to find friends in Ireland with shared interests, as I am not much of a pub guy, haha.

I'm a stone's throw away compared to the USA, but I can't offer much advice on Cork I'm afraid  Kerna Sedai is from Dublin - hopefully she'll see this and offer some advice ;)

(Our B&I party is in Scotland next year btw, just saying ;) :look:)

aww, I saw so many replies and only one even in Ireland lol got excited for a moment. I actually don't like Cork too much, I do however love Limerick, Dingle, Fungi the Dolphin, Cliffs of Moher... I have not seen Dublin yet, except for flying in to it. I really do not feel safe in very very large cities like Dublin or London or Paris unless on a tour bus or something. If you end up in the wrong area by accident, etc.

I must admit, going out at 3am for coffee or something I have no fear here... cause I know no one has guns here, and I can outrun any stab stab thief. xD #murica #trumpnation lulz what a joke. people of Ireland are so relaxed... there is so much hatred in Indiana, it is just really refreshing to be here, I honestly hope I can get a job here when I graduate. So sad, coming from the wealthiest country in the world, :DDDD

My Dad was born in Dublin. Been there twice.
I'm in Liverpool. Its a boat ride away.
I'm not a natural born Liverpudlian so..
I want to visit Galway and other countryish places.
Dublin is lovely. I'm more of a non city lass.
Quieter pubs are great there.

I have relatives in Shropshire, and a friend that has a country estate in that county as well. They own horses, etc. It is so lovely. England country is beautiful, I'm not into cities so much myself. You really should see the west coast of Ireland though, take a boat out on the Atlantic for the Cliffs of Moher, or bike Dingle Peninsula like I did, it really is about as lovely as it gets in this world as far as nature stuff goes. Quite lovely.
