From what I can remember, Robert Jordan was quite opposed to people writing anything to do with Randland and the characters from Wheel of Time, so... I am not sure, I know that there are some legal repercussions, but I'm not 100% sure in which case.

Well, in some point of view I'm not suprised Some 'writers' can create such terryfying 'work of art' that it can not be read. Especially young artists in love with the characters 
Tell the truth, I don't want to 'use' any know characters and put action in Land of Madmen, which is totally not explored part of the Land. But still, I need to use some ideas of Jordan.
