German shepherds can be so stately looking, but they are so facially expressive. I used to get so many looks from my two when we had ours. Such an intelligent breed. I miss mine. And so good with babies and children, too. I got my girl, Brinhild, when my son was a year old, and the two were basically like having twins. But they were so good together. I had her inside with me while she was small because my husband's GS, Sigmund was aggressive and I was worried Sigmund would hurt Brin. Brin and my son would play with each other and would explore together and worked very well as a team trying to get out of the living room that I had us barricaded in.
I currently have one dog. He's a German Shepard called Thor. I remember people's dog's names before them, and have to remind myself to actually greet the owners too. But I now live near Greyton where almost everyone sees the dogs, cats, cows and horses that wander around the village as citizens. I've pretty much always had between one and three dogs, except for a few years I lived in Cape Town, and frankly having no dogs around drove me crazy...

I'll just be offline for a few days, as I'm helping out with a humane education play about a rescued battery chicken.I chose to play a tree. Wordy tree. I have the 2nd most lines in the play, so need to memorise those, and make a tree costume. (A pine tree :P)

As far as your name goes, you can send an email to membership@tarvalon.net with the name you would like to change to. Bear in mind, you should not have a name that someone from the Wheel of Time books already has, or that matches anyone else's on the website.
If you have any more questions, let us know and I am sure there will always be someone around to help out. In the meantime, enjoy your play! I wish I could see that.

You are a member right now, just not a Citizen. And well, having a proper forum name is a prerequisite for Citizenship, just like the 25 posts. It helps the Mayor if you have all the prerequisites done with already, so she can process it immediately without having to wait for updates, so you can become a Citizen all the sooner!
