took me a while going back and forth making sure I had the right people for the right catergory, especially for people who don't have their membership level on their avatar or sig. I didn't fill out all the catergories.
I will say for the most welcoming catergory, thankyou to the welcoming committee and everyone that stopped by to say hi & welcome but there was one comment that stood out and really did make me feel welcome

I was just remembering the first time I participated into nominating people for Member's Choice Awards and it was soon after I joined so I can relate to the confusion :P
I spent an hour just going through the avatar list for favourite avatar. 
that catergory at least I didnt need to know who was who doing what 
I kept the nomination form open on one page while I scrolled through forums and threads. So many interesting and awesome peoples...is done

Yeah
It was the same survey, but I discovered that the first link had the "request edit" bit, the second just had the nominations. For some reason, that was causing some people problems. I did confirm that the results were the same
