Oh and yeah something called Travelzoo basically says that if Americans should ever go to Norway it will be in 2016, because it will be cheap-ish :P. Well, cheaper than if the oil prices ever get back to 'normal' again. Right now the dollar-to-NOK-ratio is about back where it was when I was a teenager (which means it's hella expensive to buy stuff from the US right now :P), and with Kjos' Norwegian comin' over to the States it's easier and cheaper to get here than ever. Just, eh, be aware that Norwegian are -crap- when it comes to customer service.
I will start saving for this. Missed 2 parties in a row now, can't let that happen again. And Norway is one of my favorite countries ever.
How much would it be to get a train from oslo to stavanger? As flying to oslo is about 100 euro cheaper than flying to stavanger.
Well, if you book in advance (we can probably help with that, if you can't do it yourself ) it could be as little as 199NOK. If you don't, it could be significantly more. As much as 900-1000 NOK actually.
That depends actually. There is a limited amount of tickets available at the lowest prize, and then the prize gradually goes up. The second rund of tickets will be 299. Then 399. The full prize is only if you wait until the day of travel to buy the tickets. You may get lucky an get a lower prize ticket on the day, but that i rare.
Like I said, if you are planning on taking the train, book in advance
