Euro & B&I Events - 2016 Bid Results!

I know you are waiting to hear with baited breath where we will be partying on other continents this coming year. As you probably know, we accept bids for the European and Britain & Ireland regions at the same time and allow both regions to bid for any time of the year. We find this works well, not locking either region into a single season.

For 2016, I am sad to say, we will not be having an event in the Britain & Ireland region. Our last few years there have been awesome, and I'm sure we'll be back. :beer


For 2016, in the European region, I pleased to announce we have accepted the bid of Novice Asine Dormandi for Stavanger, Norway! Asine has a veritable army of Norwegians at her back for this event, so I'm expecting it to be pretty awesome. We're planning this as an early-Fall Conference-style event. That means accommodations and food for the weekend will be included, and we'll have programming during the days to keep us entertained. We're in communication with our preferred choice venue now and will be back to announce exact dates as soon as we have them! :dance



Finally, if you think you might be interested in bidding for an official event to take place near you in 2017, you don't have to wait for an official call for bids to get started. My inbox (events@tarvalon.net) is always open for questions.

Early Fall could work well for me with regard to my leave dates. Keeping fingers crossed that I'll be able to hop over to Norway.

Oh, I am at least 75% sure I could make it to this one! As opposed to the usual 25-50% I am sure for events. Oh, yay! :joy
