In the last three books Mat has too many golden lines to be chosen amongst but may be the joy after escaping the Finns, took the pie. So classic Mat there.

I think that the Dark One wouldn't want to resurrect any Forsaken from aMoL. As the current ones are the best and they are the only Chosen. Why to revive souls which failed and weren't proven worthy the effort.

I don't think that we see any channeler bound to the Horn, so Egwene couldn't be Hero.
