Well she didn't write much more, I think? I've also read both, and I like the Age of the Five much more than the Black Magician, although the later is newer and much more popular.

There was an interview with RJ or Brandon, I'm not sure, where they said that Rand doesn't know the song, that he hadn't heard it in the columns. The concept that there is no song sounds pretty interesting actually...
Well I think after Tuon's talk with Artur Hawkwing, many things will change in Seanchan. And now Min and Mat have a big part in Seanchan Empire so that will affect everything, as well.

I think Tuon would never learn to channel, her beliefs about channelers are just ingrained too deep. But some big changes would certainly happen in the Seanchan empire, so, you never know (and we never will :( )
I think this is in a way related to the relationship between men and woman in WoT in general. And that's my biggest dislike in the series, the way men are treated unfairly pretty much all the time :(
So the thing that really irked me was that I was expecting a big blow-up in the Seanchan culture - namely the fact that the sul-dam can channel. But that never happened. And I really wanted to read that! :(
But on the bright side, at least the Seanchans were a big help in the Last Battle, so...
