Hi Kass!
I'm sorry I somehow failed to see this notification until now (I'm still feeling my way around here). Thank you for the signature images and the welcome. :)

I suppose it depends on how we see the Creator.
The Dark One is jealous and controlling and the True Power can only be touched with his permission (except in the case of Rand whose symbiosis with Moridin makes him a special case). On the other hand, people just sort of stumble onto the True...
I'm branching this off from another thread as the speculation raised there was too interesting to get buried:
Tazren Gaidin raised the excellent point that traditionalists among the Aes Sedai would have to confront the fact that the AoL AS did not take the Three Oaths except as a punishment...
Tazren Gaidin, your speculation raises a lot of interesting points that I think deserve their own thread to discuss fully. As it stands, the discussion had in the books by Egwene and Elayne stated that despite the drawbacks, Egwene felt that the Three Oaths were integral to what it means to be...
I think the last time Elayne was hanging around the White Tower and there was no battle going on, the Tower was still divided and the Salidar Aes Sedai didn't have the Oath Rod. She was informed by Egwene that she would be taking as soon as there was time, or give up her ring.

This surprised me in the moment, but made perfect sense when I thought about it. Why would the DO waste such a perfect resource? As long as he keeps them in the Town when they're not on jobs for him, the Aiel will never realise, and their male channelers will keep coming to him. The fact that...
Welcome Freyra! I live in an apartment too small for a full-time dog, but regularly live vicariously by baby-sitting the dogs of friends and family. Tell us about yours!
