Open spaces of land where there's absolutely nothing but open field or trees fascinates me to no end because I've never lived anywhere like that. Years ago visiting family in Nebraska where we passed small towns and nothing but barley fields for miles. I absolutely loved it. It's almost inconceivable to me witnessing rural landscapes where homes aren't boxed in together with microscopic "yards"

Apparently the act of lighting a candle has some effect on my brain where I immediately forget I've lit said candle until it's within my line of sight again
I don't like getting up super early by any means but I will say there is something about being out there in the darkness before others have gotten out of bed and started their days. Everything is so still and quiet as if the entire world has stopped.It's such a unique experience for me to see the world before dawn and before most others when nothing stirs. I had to stop and be in awe of it
